Chris Perry – Partner, Chief Executive Officer
Chris has been in the waterpark industry his entire life (working at his father’s facility since the age of 14) with 15 of those years at the now famous Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai. Chris was the General Manager of Wild Wadi, having full accountability for the Waterpark and overseeing aquatic safety for some of the most luxurious hotels in the world. His multinational teams consistently created truly customer-intimate experiences that received numerous industry, safety and service awards.
Chris previously worked as an independent, international operational consultant, helping new facilities think through design considerations with an operational mindset. Chris was the operational consultant with exclusive waterparks in France, Thailand and Hong Kong.
Chris is active within the industry, having served on the Board of Directors of IAAPA and as Waterpark Committee Chairman, initiating the first Waterpark Incident Reporting Survey for the industry. Chris was also one of the founding members of MENALAC (Middle East & North Africa Leisure and Attractions Council).
Chris was the host of Travel Channel’s amusement series, Epic Attractions, providing viewers with an all-access, backstage pass to the best attractions in the world. Chris also hosted Travel Channel’s, Mission Amusement, an amusement ‘turn-around’ show which focused on providing major face lifts and business overhauls to struggling amusement facilities.
Chris has a teaching degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA from London Business School.
Having spent 15 years at the helm of a world class facility in Dubai, Chris has extensive experience managing multi-cultural teams and working through the multitude of challenges that come with that. The list of honors that his teams have received speaks volumes to the efforts that were made to understand the demographics of the visitors and how to excel in delivering best in class service to those diverse groups.
Tim Mow – Partner, Chief Technical Services Officer
With a background in commercial swimming pool and leisure facility development, construction and engineering, Tim has overseen multiple waterpark development projects from the ground-up, including renovations, ride design and installation, as well as innovative technology upgrades. Tim also has extensive experience in strategic planning, revenue management and operations that allows for a well-rounded formula for success.
Tim Mow entered the amusement industry in 1986 as a lifeguard at Oasis Water Resort in Palm Springs, California for summer employment while attending college, and has since worked through the ranks to take on roles in park operations, maintenance and development in facilities such as: Raging Waters, San Dimas, Wild Rivers, Irvine, and Knott’s Soak City USA, San Diego, all in California.
In 2003 Tim moved abroad to take on the role of Director of Engineering at Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai, UAE for five years prior to joining Farah Leisure Parks Management in 2009. Tim worked on the pre-opening team of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and later took Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi from concept to opening in 2013 with extensive involvement in design and construction as a member of the development delivery team. He then continued on to operate the park as General Manager until early 2016. Following his time in the UAE, Tim moved to Hua Hin, Thailand as General Manager of Vana Nava Waterpark prior to taking on Vice President of Development and Technical Services for WhiteWater Southeast Asia in late 2017 and now Chief Technical Services Officer for Icon Global Partners Limited (the new name of WhiteWater Southeast Asia).
In terms of waterpark experience in development, design and operations, there are very few people in the world that have his level of hands on experience.
